First week of CTM

August 11th

The CTM has been awesome so far! I got put into a threesome and my companions are great. The food is real good too. We have beans and rice with chicken and the meat here is real nice. They also have this drink that tastes like yogurt sometimes and it is sooo good. but the hand sanitizer is really weird. it smells like rotten bananas but you need to use it anyways because of all the handshaking that goes on. The days are super busy but I'm learning a lot- even if my Portuguese is still muito mal. The time also has gone by very slowly while I've been adjusting to the new life. Its hard work but its good work. I don't have too much time today to email so hopefully I can be more detailed in the future. Love and miss you all!
